A trip to see the Jaguar was developed as an safe activity, comfortable and without harming the cat. Everything happens in the northern Pantanal, one of the havens of biodiversity in the Mato Grosso brazilian state. Our team greets the visitor at the international airport Marechal Rondon (CGB) and part toward Poconé, last town before entering the Transpantaneira road. Then follows a little over 100 km into Transpantaneira road, where the group will be staying. In the following days, plenty of excitement seeking the largest feline in the Americas, the Jaguar, and many other Pantanal beauties.

1st Day - Cuiabá> Pousada Pantanal> Safari Observation Jaguar
(Transfer, photo-safari, check-in)

Arrival in Cuiaba, airport reception and transfer to Poconé and then travel a little over 100 km in Transpantaneira, the only road that penetrates to the heart of the Pantanal, providing a beautiful photo safari during your trip with multiple stops for nature observation, with birds like the Jabiru, herons, spoonbills, among others. Arrival at the Hotel and welcome. Walk in the surroundings of the hostel to meet interesting details of the Pantanal and have made initial contacts with the lush flora and fauna. Dinner and then planning the activities to the next day. Overnight.

2nd Day - Pousada Pantanal> Safari Observation Jaguar
(Early wake up, Porto Jofre, boat, safari, photo, pic-nic)

Wake up early, watching the sunlight brightening the environment and the sound that lasts about 10 minutes, when diurnal birds awaken to a new day. Breakfast and then departure for Porto Jofre, away from the inn about 35 km (6 am). Opportunity to observe the fauna and flora of Pantanal. Arrival at Porto Jofre and boarding on motor boats for safaris in the Cuiabá River. The trip followed by three brothers tributary river, where there is great chance to observe the Jaguar. Ever nature will look more wild and rugged, revealing more unspoiled beauty of the Pantanal. Many species can be observed, such as otters, alligators, capybaras and several species of birds. Strategic stop for a picnic on the banks of river. The safari will continue following through small canals and lakes. The Jaguar can often be found easily on the river, sleeping, or it may be hard to see it in a few days, then the search will always be intensifying. When it is found, the group will always remain at a safe distance. Following the guidelines of the guide, you can observe for several minutes or hours and take many pictures. By late afternoon the boat trip will return to Porto Jofre and from there the group will return by car to the inn. During the tour you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. Arrival at the inn. Dinner and overnight.

3rd Day - Pousada Pantanal> Safari Observation Jaguar

Dawn wetland assessment and sunrise. Note the movement of dawn and then breakfast. Travel the road to Porto Jofre, away from the inn about 35 km (6 am). During path opportunity to observe the fauna and flora of Pantanal. Arrival at Porto Jofre and boarding on motor boats for safaris in the Cuiabá River, following a new path in this day, the path of the river Piquiri. We will follow up the river, entering a region where there is little explored high chance of meeting a number of birds and animals of the Pantanal and, especially, the Jaguar. Piic-nic at the riverside Cuiabá. Late afternoon return to Porto Jofre and then to the inn. As the last day of safari, we will try to return some minutes later to perform nocturnal, an activity that uses a strong flashlight and search birds and nocturnal animals. Arrival at the inn, dinner and free night.

4th Day - Pousada Pantanal> Safari Observation Jaguar
(Dawn Pantanal, Porto Jofre, boat, safari, photo, pic-nic)

Breakfast and departure for walks through the forest, observation of flora and fauna with a rich variety of animals and birds. Walk lasting about three hours. It's the best way to observe nature. We then return to the lodge and lunch. Pantanal nap. During the afternoon, around 15h, departure to ride horseback through the woods and forests of the Pantanal, observation of flora and fauna of the Pantanal. Return to the inn in the late afternoon and free time. Dinner and overnight.

5th Day - Pousada Pantanal> Cuiaba
(Farewell to the Pantanal, check out, Transfer out)

After breakfast, transfer to Cuiaba. Farewell.

Do not forget to bring

- small rucksack to daily walks;
- trainers or shoes to walking (very important), lights (optional);
- clothes, flipflops or sandals, bathing suit, jacket, cap or hat;
- light cotton clothes for the activities, long sport sox;
- long pants;
- long sleeved shirt (sun and insects);
- bermudas, t-shirts;
- swimming clothes;
- solar protector, repellent, photo camera, binoculars, pocket fashlight;
- personal hygiene articles and whatever medicines you may be taking (recomended);
- films and batteries (if you need to replace everytime).
